I'm still working on cleaning out the shed. On Saturday I lifted up an empty birdseed bag to find this batch of tiny eggshells half on it, half beneath it. So exciting! They're so tiny and delicate. I thought they must be snake eggs, until I googled . . . now I think perhaps they are gecko or lizard eggs instead. Only the layer of the eggs knows for sure....
The photo above shows the membrane within the shell. In the photo below is what I thought was a wee snakeskin, or is it more inner-egg material? I know not.

I was just looking to identify an egg in my living room. It looks like the one you photographed and seems to be the same size. I live in Palm Beach county near the ocean. My doors are open often. I see lots of lizards. This egg was broken not hatched. It seems very small to be a snake egg. However, we do have pigmy rattlered in the county.
today i also found exact same erggs here in Pakistan,, it are i think lizard eggs.. i have a lot of lizards in my living room,, i have neer seen any snake even in my neighbouhood..
Sorry I missed these comments till now! I agree that these must be lizard eggs. They're so small, and we have many, many more lizards around than snakes, though we definitely do have snakes. Also, I see lizards in the shed all the time.
what is that brown thing to the left of your finger? i find a lot of those outside of my house. i thought those were lizard eggs, but all the pictures i googled were white? that brown thing is flat and i have no idea what they are

Those brown things are little dust eating bugs. They move and poke their heads out when looking for food.

I too also just found several of the same eggs under my house while fixing a busted water pipe so I live in louisiana where we have both lizards and lots of different snakes so I too am 6so seeing what kind of egg this is.But I have done lots of research on it and found out that snake eggs are kinda rubbery and the eggs split open for the snake to come out where lizard eggs bust the tops of their tiny brittle shells out so they can come out so I do believe we have lizard eggs.
