See this little hole, so carefully built and established? Look, it is smaller than the tip of my finger (that is my index finger in a green gardening glove in the photo below). Who lives in there??
What could it be? Snakes don't dig holes, but some spider do. I walked the fence line and found 2 holes of similar size but w/ out the lovely nesting arrangement around it shown in your pic. Can you send those pics to our neighbors, maybe someone knows?

Jen, too small for a tarantula! And Nell, yes, I will share the pics around and also do some research!
And I will just say that tarantulas are really shy and rather sweet. They would like to avoid YOU much more than you even want to avoid them, Jen!
