Paper-clay pies, made with a tiny rolling pin, for a (late) Christmas present. Really fun working with the clay—it's very like working with real dough. 

 

 

 No, I didn't really roll them out with flour; that's just for staging. But I did really use the tiny rolling pin.

So pretty...so innocent- looking...so god-awful. Steer clear if you see this at the farmers market in Austin. The proprietor might be English, but she's not Cornish. Shame on her for giving pasties a bad name.
