Or, Everything's Bigger In Texas I have never before seen the like of these giant acorns. I found them under what is clearly an oak tree in the parking lot of what used to be Westgate Mall, whatever they call it now, in front of the south Hyde Park Bar & Grill. What are they?
It's a teaspoon, but I agree nonetheless. I had no penny at hand and grabbed the first thing I saw when I opened the kitchen drawer beside me. We will re-photograph later with a more appropriate item.

I don't think that spoon gives a full idea of the size of the acorn -- it's a pretty big spoon.
